Hi, my name’s Farha! I’m a junior at EMU, majoring in Computer Science. For the past few years, I’ve exclusively worked in the software dev field, but I’ve recently had the opportunity to branch out: I’ve accepted a digital marketing internship at a company called BioMedware, through the Ann Arbor SPARK. BioMedware develops software programs to analyze environmental health trends, and my main goal with them is to help design, launch, and advertise their new ecommerce website. As you can see, the term digital marketing can mean many things, and for me at BioMedware, it definitely means putting on a lot of new hats: marketing specialist, digital media creator, and UX designer.
